This is Iffer. She agreed to be a proof of concept

This is Iffer. She agreed to be a proof of concept behind an idea I had several years ago.

The idea of One House is to gather enough donations to pay off a house completely. The homeowner continues to make payments, but now they are to One House instead of a mortgage company. When we receive a payment from a homeowner, it is split up between funding humanitarian relief efforts and paying off another house to repeat the process. In addition, the payments are joined with current donations, which are the magnifier to the rate we can add homes to the process.

The percentage of funds routed to humanitarian relief efforts increases with each home in the pipeline. Once you see it, the perpetual nature of funding relief efforts is truly limitless.

She immediately saw the power of the idea and wanted to help. We paid off the small balance of her mortgage and she continued to make payments to One House.

She said, “I’m making payments anyway. It might as well go toward accomplishing something good”.

Her house is completely paid off with the lender and with One House Relief Project, and we were able to do something more with the money than just pay off a mortgage.
