Why We Do It

The need to fund and perform meaningful humanitarian relief is insatiable.  Most people are inclined to help, but the need is often greater than our ability to offer any real, lasting assistance.  Most models of offering any form of assistance are a constant process of fundraising, then using those funds to offer assistance, all while making sure the organization remains viable, and then repeating the process.

We hope to fund relief efforts out of a fund that is constantly, and effortlessly, being replenished, thereby allowing sufficient time and energy to administer the funds and the service it performs.

Our goal is to implement a last funding solution that can tackle big problems, once it’s up and running.

Donation by donation is the starting point.  House by house is the real accelerator of financing and affecting positive change.

Lastly, we do this because by lifting up the struggling among us, we make our neighborhoods a better place to live.   Very few people have enough money to solve large societal problems alone.  Government funding is always being challenged due to budget cuts and reallocations.  Together, we have more than enough resources to solve problems.  It’s just a question of how we come together.  We think One House Relief Project is a good place to start and grow.
